ABC Commitment with the General Data Protection Regulation

The company ABC AGÊNCIA NAVEGAÇÃO, UNIPESSOAL LDA, accomplishes completely with the REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016, hereinafter referred to as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In this document ABC writes its Code of Conduct, within the framework of its legal commitment to the GDPR. And it refers all other issues not described in this document to the GDPR.

All the personal data that ABC collects and storage was given by companies with which ABC has businesses. So, all the personal data is from the employees from those companies, and is used only for commercial contacts previously authorized by those companies and those employees. The personal data contains only the names and emails of employees; and this emails are the type of: name.surname@company.

The Personal data will be stored by ABC under the following conditions, in accordance to Article 13, from GDPR:

  • As long as ABC maintains business relations with the company to which the data subject works; and,
  • As long as ABC is not informed by the company that the data subject is no longer at his service; or,
  • Until the data subject inform ABC that doesn't want that his personal data be storage by ABC.

ABC Processes Personal Information

ABC company processes personal information lawfully, in accordance with GDPR, Article 6.

Transfer of Personal Data

ABC company will not share personal data with third parties.

Storage of Personal Data

ABC will store personal data in compliance with the GDPR’s data minimization and storage limitation principles.

Automated Profiling and Decision Making

ABC does not use automated profiling or decision making.

Rights of the Data Subject

  • Right of access by the data subject to the personal data. (GDPR, Article 15)
  • Right to rectification - The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the data subject shall have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement. (GDPR, Article 16)
  • Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’) - The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay (…). (GDPR, Article 17)
  • Right to restriction of processing – The data subject could object to the way in which the ABC processes the personal data, and/or restrict the way in which the ABC process it. (GDPR, Article 18)
  • Right to data portability - The data subject shall have the right to receive the personal data concerning him or her, which he or she has provided to a controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided. (GDPR, Article 20)
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (GDPR, Article 13)
